Playing Calypso's Role In The Odyssey

I found the LARping project to be very enjoyable. Unlike many projects where you work countless hours just to submit a paper to your teacher, we were able to collab with our fellow peers. I really enjoyed sitting in a circle and having a conversation with my friends as if we were a god. The idea of how we had to portray the role of a god or goddess was very fun. I enjoyed playing Calypso very much. At first, I was nervous because I did not think I was going to enjoy LARPing because it seemed like a lot of work.
During my conversation with the fellow gods, I do not think we talked as much as we should. The first group that went was full of energy.The spirit amongst those gods made it seem very easy for them to continue a conversation. In my association of gods, it almost perceived as if the conversations was forced. In the end, my group came to consent that Ceria would be free from her curse but Iphonious would be forced to rule Ithica alone. This compromise was very easy to make because many people did not speak up to appeal.
Playing Calypso was not a hard task for me. Calypso’s role in the Odyssey was not as immense as other gods. I understood the Odyssey very well, which made it less complicated to understand my plot for the project. Creating a wearable in the Ilab worried me the most. We had two class periods to create a wearable that resembled our god. The first day in the Ilab I was unprepared. I did not get anything done besides my quote. My wearable was created the night before it was due. I believe there were more positives than negatives in this
