Poem Review: Bridge Over Troubled Water By Paul Simon

A friend is essential in life,having a friend will make life happier and will help you through rough times.A friend is a friend no matter what,and they can be anybody.They can be your family member, classmate,teacher,co-worker or even a random person you met somewhere.The thing is who ever your friends are if they are your real friends,they will support you and they will be by your side no matter what.

Just like in the poem “Bridge over troubled water”. This poem is written by Paul Simon.The poem is about a guy and his loyalty and support for his friend.He’s there when she was sad.He’s there to offer comfort for his friend in need.He’s there to support his friend when she’s having a rough time and he’s always gonna be there when she needs a friend.This poem defines the true meaning of friendship,which is being there for your friend to support.No matter what your situation or his/her situation is.

Similarly to my friendship between me and my best friends in the Philippines.I met my best friend when I was in grade 3.I’m a new student in the school, and most of my classmates hated me and he’s the only one who made friends with me,he supported me in everything.For example;when I tried to make a dance team to compete in the school’s dance competition,he helped me ask students to join the team.Our team won.Slowly the dance team turned into a group of best friends.We enjoy dancing together and we all support each other.Until now we’re still friends and talk to each other even though I’m thousand miles away from them.For me they are my real friends, and nothing can change that.I know that they will always be there for me to support and guide me and I will always be there for them to support and guide them.

Kanaalaq is a significant example of a true friend. She didn’t even know Charlie but she was there to watch Charlie and she took care of him.She was there to support him.Charlie didn’t care about Kanaalaq at first but eventually Kanaalaq’s care for him softened his stone heart and slowly they became friends.The tides have turned and now Kanaalaq was sick and Charlie takes care of her.Kanaalaq was there for Charlie when he needed help and Charlie was there for Kanaalaq when she needed help.
No matter how rude Charlie was and no matter.A true friend will be there for you no matter what,and that’s what exactly Kanaalaq is.They didn’t know each other but they have a strong connection,like how most friendship started.You meet new people and you feel like you have a connection to them and you become friends.
