His parents kept explaining to him that everything was ok, and it was for a while. With the assurance of his parents, and being surrounded by his family, he began to feel comfort again. She had been explaining how he had been surviving all alone, when out of nowhere they came back and captured him… however that's not the interesting part. The interesting part is when he gets in the truck, and is getting transported to the place, she describes how the ride was so vividly, it's almost as if you were there. Then when he got out, the author described the scene so well, it said “There was white stuff all over the ground, almost as if it was warm snow”, she was describing all of the ashes on the ground…
