Paycheck. Money. Big houses. Expensive cars. Professional athletes get paid a lot of money for their work, so much that they can buy the most expensive cars, houses, and other items too. While some people may disagree, professional athletes are overpaid because they make a lot more money than the people who risk their lives every day for our country, also they only work until their 30’s or 40’s, and they only work on a regular basis for a few months out of the year. Professional athletes are not overpaid for their jobs. Their job is not close to being stressful as some jobs are. They only work for a few months out of the year on a regular basis, and people with other jobs work six days out of the week. Most professional athletes will only work until their 30’s or 40’s, and they will be so financially secure for the rest of their lives that they will not have to work for the rest of their lives. When the team travels to an away game, the athletes hardly have to pay for anything. Athletes only work on a regular basis for a few months out of the year and still get paid a ridiculous amount of money for only woking 6 months out of the year. While some people may disagree, professional athletes are overpaid because they make a lot more money than the people who risk their lives every day for our country, also they only work until their 30’s or 40’s, and they only work on a regular basis for a few months out of the year.
