If you didn’t recognize that quote, it was from the famous Shia LaBeouf video. I know that my reenactment was hilarious, but I think there was a real message in that quote that I want you to think about. Think of something you want to do and think about the quote “just do it!”. People always say that they will do it tomorrow or soon, but I am talking about doing it now. With me being elected, I promise that I will make change in our chapter. One of my ideas includes changing our Stand UP, since it is hard to relate to those who are in poverty and homeless. We can change our Stand UP cause to working
with special needs children, like in the Friendship Circle, but I am also open to other suggestion and we could vote on it. I would also like to incorporate most of the fall holidays into programs. We can start off the term with a Rosh Hashanah project where we bake honey cake to get the MITs excited about 63! We can end the term off with a fun Secret Hannukah Harry project. Another idea I have in mind is to help you start your day off right and Jewishly. Each morning at 6:30 am, I plan to send each bee a text including Israeli news, a hebrew word of the day, and Jewish trivia! The first person to respond to my text with the correct answer will get a special prize from me at the next project. So I’m gonna take a quick poll so raise your hand if you agree with any of the following statements: Who wants to have a fun summer? Just do it!!! Who wants to eat ice cream? Just do it!! Who wants to have a dabbing party? Just do it!! Now I have one last thing for you to remember... just JEW it!!
