Racism Persuasive Speech

What if I told you that something as simple as a color separates people? That throughout the world individuals are misjudged, and treated like outcasts for something as simple as a color? Racism is still a huge issue today, and everyday different complexioned people treat each other with hate. Although racism is still a problem it is improving everyday, and more and more people are becoming acceptive of those with different skin colors. It isn’t difficult to not be racist, just be careful of what you say, and remember that we are all human. In order to combat racism, don’t be the racist yourself. If you want to see a change you have to be the change. Committing racist actions, can create a bad impression for others. People are always watching, so if you treat others wrongly you most likely will be treated poorly in return. If you often making racist comments towards others, yet you tell people you are not racist then you are just contradicting yourself. You may have to change the way you act if you honestly want to see a difference in the amount of racism there is. Additionally, if you want to prevent racism be careful of how you speak. Be sure to listen to others if they tell you that you are making rude or unnecessary comments
To help the victim, you are showing that not everyone is racist. There are a lot of situations where someone who gets racially mistreated will begin to act racist in return to the attacker. The only thing you have to do sometimes is be a friend to them, show them that race is subjective and they should not be mistreated for it. Furthermore, if someone was treating you badly, would you want someone to stick up for you? I think most people would like to know someone disagrees with a racists behavior.
