Reasons Why Abortion Is Wrong
Did you know that in the USA alone, 3,000 children are purposely killed by doctors a day. These children are the unborn babies of selfish mothers who don’t want their child. These children are aborted. Abortion is the process of legally discarding an unwanted fetus that could grow up to become something great but never had the chance. Therefore, abortion should be abolished.
There are many reasons why abortion is wrong. For one, abortion is inhumane. Many people would argue that a person becomes a person from the time that a sperm hits a human egg. If this is true, that means abortion is murder. In addition to this, according to abortion.procon.org, the fetus does feel pain. Doctors have seen, through an ultrasound, the fetus crying out in silent pain throughout the abortion process. Also, if that isn’t enough, in one way of completing the abortion, the baby is literally ripped out of the mother’s womb, piece by piece until only the head remains. Then, the doctor literally crushes this tiny head and pulls it out as if it is nothing. This procedure is, without a doubt, inhumane.
Another reason is that abortion causes physical problems for the mother later in life. The women is is more likely to get breast cancer, ovarian cancer, liver cancer, or cervical cancer. As Jason Ladock said, “abortion can also lead to

For one, the mother is more likely to commit suicide later in life, become depressed or have high anxiety, dislike sex and loose intimacy, or have traumatic stress syndrome. In addition to these, the mother is more likely to abuse or neglect a child, misuse alcohol and drugs, or require a phytrophic medicine, prescribed by her doctor. The man could end up suffering because they regret their involvement of the decision prior to the abortion or simply because they lost a child. Over all, the mother and the father can end up with psychological

I’m pretty sure that most people know someone that has had an abortion. One in every six women had an abortion and it has different effects on them. Many women that have abortions show signs of major psychological problem such as depression, bladder injuries that can lead to peritonitis an inflamed infected lining of the stomach, bowel injury or breast cancer. Women who have abortions have higher chances of getting breast cancer later in life and this has increased by 50%. Ectopic pregnancy, which is a pregnancy that occurs outside the uterus. After an abortion you are 8-20 times likely to have one of the effects on other pregnancies like bleeding in the first few months, and less likely to have a regular delivery. A woman who has had an abortion will be 3 times more likely to die in the first few months of giving birth to another…

Abortion is the deliberate killing of the weakest and most defenseless among us. Unfortunately, the last few decades, the practice has been recognized as a fundamental human right. According to statistics provided by Guttmacher institute, “there were approximately 1.05 million abortions in the United States in 2012 alone” (Abortion Counters 4). To many, that might be just a number and it does not necessarily mean anything, but lets just take some time to think about how tremendously that number actually is. The image of 1.05 million lifeless, innocent premature babies is horrific, and many do not realize how sick and wrong it is. That number is more than just a statistic but it is the amount of lives that were ended way to early. As someone who stands for pro-life, aborting a baby is not something that should be an option so easily for women. Women nor anybody else should have the authority to end a child’s life prematurely.…

Abortion by definition is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Wrong! Abortion simply means murder. Right! Abortion is just wrong. Abortion is a very touchy subject with very little middle ground. Every year around one-million developing fetuses are aborted for various reasons, usually financial problems. While technological advancements in medical science have made abortion a simple step to avoid unwanted pregnancies there are still negative repercussions. Abortion, specifically late stage abortion, should not be accepted by our society because the fetus can feel pain at 20 weeks, abortions are thinning the population of minority groups, and the child is never given a chance.…

Ever since 1973, the U.S. government has allowed the right to kill over 56 million innocent unborn but alive babies (Abortion Procedures During First, Second and Third Trimester. ”).Abortion is wrong because babies feel pain during the procedure, the mother’s rights are honored above the child’s, and it is immoral and anti-religious. For abortion , after the seven weeks, there are two different procedures but in both ways, the baby can experience direct pain before it is killed. Two ways through which abortion is possible is by taking abortions pills till the seventh week of pregnancy or having a surgical removal up until the twenty-fourth week.…

When an abortion is performed, the fetus is in a very early stage of development. Most brain cells are not yet developed, and this means that the fetus cannot feel pain. Cervical cancer is a leading health factor to watch out for after having an abortion. Cervical cancer due to an abortion is said to be because of untreated Cervical damage from the abortion. Additionally, Ovarian and Liver cancer can also take effect due to abortion, says the Elliot Institute. Studies show that mothers who abort are 4 times more likely to die within a year of having the termination compared to mothers who carried out their pregnancy full term. Having an abortion also increases the risk of having problems in future pregnancies. These problems can include, but are not limited to, Premature birth and Handicapped born children. These complications can be harmful to the mother during labor/birth. Premature birth can be the cause of Traumatic Stress. Kathleen Kendall Tackett notes that “A study of 40 parents of babies in the NICU found that 44% of the mothers met full criteria for acute stress disorder, while none of the fathers did. Acute stress disorder was also associated with alterations in the parental role, which included not being able to help, hold or care for the infant, protect the infant from pain, or share the infant with other family members.” They concluded that these terminations had been emotionally traumatic events that led to severe posttraumatic-stress responses that persisted for years.” PTSD, as has been stated, can be very hard on the…

They have some alternatives: (1) have the child and raise it (2) have the child, then give it up for adoption (3) get an abortion. Sadly, many women choose alternative three. A mother kills her baby because it is unwanted, yet she is not charged with murder. Is this right? It is wrong to kill something that has an undoubtedly possible future.
