the spectrum, only the crude and recrystallized Phenacetin show. In this experiment, the
crude had an 87.17% match to the library. In the recrystallized Phenacetin, the IR
spectrum was taken twice due to the amount of KBr used in the pellet. The first
recrystallized spectrum had a 68% match to the library spectrum. That not being that
good of a percentage, the spectrum was taken again using less KBr, giving a 70.92%
