Cognitive style subtest on GARS 3 scores the if the child displays superior knowledge on a subject or talks about a single subject excessively. Tara Noel scored a standard score of 9. She demonstrates behaviors the same as or more than 37 percent of all students when compared to the norms for her age. In the past four weeks Tara Noel has displayed a superior knowledge and talked excessively about horse. She has displayed to have knowledge about horse that she doesn’t not have for more common concepts. Maladaptive Speech subtest on GARS 3 scores if a child speaks out of context or the tone/inflection of a child’s voice. Tara Noel well scored a standard score of 10. She demonstrates behaviors the same as or more than 50 percent of all students when compared to the norms for her age. She mixes up pronouns and repeats (echoes) words.
