What is society’s biggest problem? Is it fear? The fear of being rejected? The fear of not being accepted? Or the fear you may never live up to your own expectations. Fear governs the world. World leaders use fear as a tool to manipulate the masses into believing them. Fear stems from insecurity. To illustrate my point take how world leaders use fear as a motive to convince numerous amounts of people to agree with a course of action or opinion. An example of this is Donald Trumps ambition to build a wall on the border of Mexico. When Donald Trump said “They’re [mexico] sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us.They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re bringing rapists.” he utilises fear by convincing his supporters that Mexican immigrants are creating more problems in the United States by indicating they are there to rein terror. The phrase “they’re bringing crime” evokes fear among society by using prejudice and stereotypes against Mexicans which causes them to agree with his intention to build a
