Romeo was the one to blame for this catastrophic event. As a matter of fact, Romeo sneaked into the Capulet’s house without any consent of the Capulets. He was trying to forget the fact that he had just experienced the act of unrequited love, which is not pleasant at all. He was clearly being selfish and sneaked into the party. “ What, shall this speech be spoken for our excuse? Arguing that she had some miscommunication with Romeo, leading to him not knowing what was going on. However Juliet did indeed want Romeo to know about what was going to happen and she did think about consulting Romeo about the situation. To add on,she left it up to the Friar to tell Romeo about this event.“ Shall Romeo by my letters know our drift and hither shall he come…” ( Shakespeare IV. i. 114-115). This could be put upon Juliet but at the end of the day why didn't Romeo know about this plan, because he was banished. Juliet was just doing what was best. It wasnt her fault that there was a plague. Not allowing the letter to reach Romeo. The person who made this all so complicated was in fact
