Sandro Botticelli
Sandro Botticellli other known as Alessandro di Marlano di Vanni Fillipepi, was born in Florence, Italy on March 1st, 1445 and passed away May 17th, 1510. He was an Italian painter of the Florentine school during the Early Renaissance. He became an apprentice at 14 years old and received a fuller education than other artists. He was influenced by the Monumentality of Masaccio's painting. Botticelli was trying to be a goldsmith by his brother Antonio. He had his own workshop by 1470. He never got married and didn't like the idea of marriage, it gave him nightmares.
Botticelli’s two most famous paintings were the Primavera, made in 1478, and The Birth of Venus, made in 1485. These paintings were painted specifically for the villa and both paintings
