Science Indonesia Case Study
What can people realize, if they hear about learning science in Indonesia? In Indonesia, learning science is not that important. Science in Indonesia not much been improve by the government, especially for the scientist. Even though Indonesia has many students that join the international competition and win it, it because they have a good lecture and compatible facilities, but what happen to the children who study in different school do they have the same facilities or good lecture? They did not have it. So that makes children in Indonesia think that science is complicated and useless to be studied. Indonesia needs to change the system of learning because an attractive science learning by using fun learning and field course can develop science …show more content…
In physiology, playing is the world of children, if we want children to learn science, we need to give them suitable games that contain science lesson. Learning science using comic can expose children imaginary so that they will love science. Not just comic, action figure can make classes more fun and enjoy. And another way is telling a story that contains science. But telling a story is not that easy because we need to combine it with other game, so children can enjoy it more. Do an experiment is also fun for children because children love to learn something new that never be seen.
Field case study of children can make learning science become more helpful. The indoor and outdoor experiment is different, but it will also teach children how fun science is. Indoor experiment, children just learn how the theory are, but at the outdoor experiment children will learn how exactly science be, they can apply it, but remember the teacher need to company the children during the field course. But developing science in Indonesia is not that easy because Indonesia is too religious, where scientist need to obey with their rules. Not just that, the teacher learning system also needs to be changed because some teacher does not motivate their student to be a scientist. But this will not stop the growing of science in Indonesia, since we have some teacher who support their students. The teacher is the best way to give an example to the student because the teacher will motivate their student to study science, but Albert Einstein said that the only source of knowledge is experience. So children need more practice in learning science.
The importance to change Indonesia science learning is by developing the attractive learning and use the field course. By developing both of them, Indonesia can make children to love science and make Indonesia children advance in science. It’s still not too late for changing the Indonesia learning system, Indonesia still has time to do it. Future scientist is ready for
