Review:
After not being able to decide which restaurant to review, I decided to download the Yelp! App on my phone and have it decide for me. I loaded up the App, clicked “Nearby,” chose the restaurant with the most reviews and I was on my way. Yelp! took me to the San Diego Chicken Pie Shop. Before entering the restaurant, it was difficult to find parking which his always a sign of a good restaurant. Once you find parking and enter the restaurant, you are greeted by the delicious smell of fresh chicken pot pies and by an older waitress who quickly seats you. You can choose to dine in or take out. The time was around noon, the place was packed, and the décor looked like it hadn’t been updated since 1985. Most of the patrons were older folk that look like they have been coming here for a very long time. They had some posters on the wall, but one of them caught my attention. It was a blown up picture of a very old menu when the prices were only 45 cents for a pie dinner. I looked at the current menu and decided to go with that same exact pie dinner, except that it is now 7 dollars.
After a few more minutes, the waitress who seated me came back to take my order. I ordered the pie dinner and literally 4 minutes later, I had a full pie dinner
