“My past life is what it is…or was. It can’t be changed. Is this payback for what I did so many years ago? I was a gambler, a thief, a promiscuous ladies man, a liar and a cheat. My brother Brock, dead on the battlefield, myself wounded, taking his place and returning as him to his family with all my lies in the deception that saved my life. But hurt the family I love, am I paying now for all of that? Will I now be forced to reverse that and relive all the problems that caused the deception? Doesn’t it count that I’m now a different person, a truly better person than I was as Blake? May God help me!”

Many years have passed Blake, it seems has put his past behind him, now living as his dead brother, Brock. His mother and wife have forgiven him of his deception and no one else knows…or do they? I couldn’t put it down! The Blake deception is truly a unique storyline but the plot thickens with the twist of having to go back to his past life to stop a senator from selling secrets in DC and the hardest of all, going back to Houston where there are 2 men who want him dead. Gene is a gifted storyteller that keeps his plots detailed, fast-paced and exciting. His characters are believable and true to life. One thrill ride not to be missed however in order not to miss one word of this thrilling deception don’t start here, but read book 1first. Fast-paced, exciting thrill ride not soon

It is safe to say that this was one of the most drama-filled exciting novels I have ever read. My jaw dropped when the killer was revealed and I was near-trembling throughout the whole novel. I believe Craig Silvey has done a wonderful job on this novel and it is definitely a must read for everyone. I recommend this novel to anyone that enjoys, horror, romance or even comedy because ‘Jasper Jones’ is a beautiful combination of all three…

I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to others! An example is Cassia always trusted in the decisions that she makes and, never really thought about it twice. This proves that all the things Cassia has done she has done it in secret and never told anybody about it. Cassia is faced with impossible choices between the only life she’s known and a path no one else has ever followed.…

The speakers in “Morning Song” by Sylvia Plath and “Infant Sorrow” by William Blake express their attitudes towards infancy. They do this through the use of imagery and language in each poem. There is a range of emotions that are expressed by the speakers, who are both providing perspectives of childbirth from the parent’s point of view. The vivid images that are created by these poems reveal the attitudes of the speakers toward infancy.…

One thing James Dashner is good at is Storytelling. Making up this world and coming up with all the plot twists, he's a very talented writer. He tends to write creating suspense, making the next plot twist come at the right moment and right time, making you want to go on to the next chapter. James made it literally impossible for me to try and figure out what was going to happen. Like many of the characters in the book, I had no idea who I could trust or believe. Some of the plot twists and answers some things I questioned, but overall it was a fast-paced tale that easily drew me in, and it will draw you in too that’s why I recommend this book to everyone.…
