Also, many documents and legal papers need signatures. Your signature is what proves your identity. If nobody knows how to write in cursive, how will you ever sign a paper. Yes, technology has taken over many things these days, however, what if one day you don't have the technology and your signature is needed? It's an alternative way for things. It strengthens parts in the brain, and it is proven to help people with disabilities. Why take away something that could help someone? Maybe not everybody needs cursive, or wants to learn cursive, but there's some people out there that cursive could actually better their life. Why would we want to take that away from somebody?
There's many reasons why I think schools should teach cursive, and there's many people with opinions different than mine. Studies have shown that teaching and knowing cursive can help with more things than just one. So why take away a chance to learn something new? Why take away something that could help people in need? Or make things in the future easier. By refusing to teach cursive, you are refusing to help someone else with something that could make a difficult life, turn into an easier
