Similarities Between Jay Pearcy And I
Growing up in a small town we often ignore the fact that, even in a small community, there are vast differences between each individual. For example, my classmate Jay Pearcy and I, while sharing a lot of the same interest, have very different backgrounds and futures. Each person has a different story that all lead up to the way their lives are now. Jay was born in Wadley Regional Medical Center, much like many kids in the Texarkana area. Jay’s family consist of a mom, dad, and his two sisters. His mom has her PhD in speech pathology. His dad is the manager at Mclarty Ford. His older sister, morgan, is 19 years old and is currently in college at Texas A&M - Texarkana. His younger sister, Lillie, is 9 years old and currently attends Pleasant

I was born in Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Arkansas. My family consist of my mom, my dad, and my three siblings. Both my mom and my dad work for the government at Red River Army Depot. My oldest brother, Gaven, is 20 years old and is currently attending Texas Tech University. Gaven is majoring in animal science in hopes of becoming a veterinarian. My sister, Ashlin, is a junior at New Boston High School. My youngest brother, Khamo, is four years old and is definitely the life of our house. I have been raised in Redwater, Tx from the day I was born. I have always attended Redwater schools. During high school I have played basketball and golf. After graduation I want to attend The University of Texas at Austin and pursue a degree in sports medicine. Once I begin my career, I want to have a nice house, a nice car, and a loving family. Although we grew up only 15 minutes away from each other, our lives have been very different. Jay’s is the only son of his parents. Meanwhile, I only have one sister. Jay has attended multiple school districts in his life; I have only ever gone to Redwater. Also, I grew up in a country setting; whereas, Jay grew up in the city. Jay’s mom attended college and got her PhD in speech pathology. Neither of my parents had the opportunity to attend college and do not possess anything further than a high school
