Another reason why I would like to become a Helper is that I can help relieve some of the stress that Moderators and Admins receive. Such as I can help by receive questions and giving warnings while admins make sure the community is free of any hackers or

I have learned different ways of working with clients, and learned how to use active listening when it comes to getting them the help that they need. Answering the helpline calls is only one of my job duties, but in my opinion, it is the most critical. We have to be able to think quickly and work with others in the office in order to get help quickly when needed. I have been on the phone with clients as they were in the process of swallowing too many pills, and worked quickly to send an ambulance for the client. I have also been able to comfort chronic callers who just desperately need to talk to someone on the phone because the “voices” are quiet when she has someone real to talk to. I never considered a job working in the human services field, and taking this position has made me change a lot of the goals in my life. This is the reason I decided to further my education and pursue a degree in human…

It is important to work in partnership with others as it allows you to perform task that would be very difficult on your own. My experience goes as far as when I was 8 when I started joining servers and my knowledge started to blossom. Also, I can communicate very well with the players in many different languages and dialects which people are not really familiar with them. I also feel qualified PVP wise as well because of my skills at detecting players that are not playing legit (hacking). With my PVP being as best as it has been before I feel very strong and very confident in my decisions to take action. Being a player that has relied on experience and trial and error. The strength of my communication and sticking with my decisions is what makes me one of the strictest people even if I do seem approachable. I also would try to strive to be the best Helper I can be, I will wait until I come across someone that needs to be helped. I would never to abuse the title of a Helper, I would do what I can to enforce the server rules and keep the troublemakers at…

    1. As a carer your role is not to do things for the individuals you care for but to do the tasks including the service user. A support workers role is to work in partnership with the individual and support their decisions, offer as much or as little assistance the service user requires for their care and support them to do as much as possible for themselves. If you provide too much care for an individual they can lose their skills and independence and not learn any new life skills. By providing support and encouraging the individual to participate in their daily living needs you are helping them to develop and maintain their skills for everyday life. Skills are easily regained if the service user is shown how to complete a task. For example if a service user is having a shower and would usually have his hair washed for him, why not show him how to wash his own hair. Whilst providing personal care for my residents when it comes to hair washing, I normally provide the shampoo and apply the shampoo to the service users palm. I then mimmick washing my own hair and ask the service user to copy me. This is also useful in showing a service user where needs to be washed. I also talk to the service user about the task they are doing, for example I would mimmick washing my arms and say wash your arms that's it, don't forget underneath your arm. This is enforcing new skills as well as maintaining them, it also empowers the service user as they have achieved this task themselves with minimal support.…

Your role as a support worker would be to mainly encourage and reassure service users as well as planning in advance. Whilst out in an unfamiliar environment or in an environment where the risk of danger is higher for the service user then a support workers role is to explain and make them aware of certain dangers or hazards. Constantly monitoring the environment and the service user is key, whilst giving reassurance and guidance play a big role to make the service user feel confident and at ease.…
