Some people prefer to live in small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in? use specific reasons and detail to support your answer. Mankind has paid great attention to residence. Some people are in favor of living in small town while others show great interest in living in a big city. From my perspective, the latter is my great choice. First and foremost, good conditional systems draw much of my consideration. The fact is that there are a lot of excellent teachers in big cities. With deep knowledge and wide perspective, it is very easy for teachers to create interesting lessons and new methods of teaching. Thus, when our children go to school, they will pay great attention for the lectures. Furthermore, modern equipment enables students to expend their knowledge. They will not only study simple theories but also contact with new technologies. It is clearly seen that modern equipment creates a golden opportunity for students to apply what they studied for real experiments. Therefore, students have an actual view about real life and a good preparation for their future. In the second place, personal development holds no less important role. It is common knowledge that developing our skills will help us adapt quickly to the life in big cities. As far as I know, the life in metropolis is so complex, so we must train ourselves every day. Improving our skills such as communication skill, team-work skill creates a golden chance that contributes to our success. More interestingly, megalopolis is a dynamic place. There are a lot of people who come from different countries around the world. Foreigners are very friendly, easy-going, so it is not difficult for you to contact them. People always say that living in a large city is a great quality, they like it because it let them get a lot of benefits; in my opinion, every place has its drawbacks; there is no perfect place that we can say: “It is formidable”. In the other hand, they are people who hate living in a large city, and they prefer the small one. As far as I live in Raleigh, I do not like it due to three reasons: change of weather, few means of transportation, and quiet life.…

The Gojira portrayed in Honda's film was the personification of the mass devastation brought about by nuclear testing and not merely just a monster. However, this narrative was heavily downplayed in the American remake by Morse. GKotM was edited in such a way that portrayed Godzilla as nothing more than a remorseless and unforgiving monster, out to cause massive destruction. Dr.Yamane's final remarks after having defeated Gojira, "but if we keep on conducting nuclear tests, it's possible that another Gojira might appear somewhere in the world again," was an obvious caution towards the consequences of continuous nuclear testing. Honda was clearly conveying that Gojira was unleashed as a product of human's selfish desire to dominate over nature.…

In the first chapter of her book, Interpersonal Communication Everyday Encounters, Julia T. Woods (2013) examines how various interpersonal communications satisfy basic human needs. She starts off by examining Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs places the most important needs as the Physical Needs for Survival (1968). These include the need for air, food, reproduction, and all the other needs for basic survival as a species. While some of this may be obvious in our communications, i.e. a baby crying because it’s hungry, not all of it is. We are satisfying this need when we speak to our doctors about symptoms we may be having. Communicating our Physical Needs of for Survival is, at its heart, any communication we do that may help us stay alive.…

I find there are many reasons why I choose to live in a small town. I can form a truly deep friendship in a small town. The type of friendship that wasn’t form based on social status, but based on the character. Friends that I can depend on in times of need. Besides that, there aren’t many people live in a small town. Mostly people who live in a small town know each other. They are more friendly and care to others. Small towns give me the opportunity of receiving help when I need it. The other reason is about the nature. The environment in the small town is great. It is away from traffic jams, the noise and air pollution. I can enjoy the fresh air, clean water, and green scenery. Living in the small town is cheaper in many aspects. The cost to purchase a house or start a business in the small town are cheaper if I compare to a big city. The property taxes and the price of basic daily needs are also cheap.…

There is a lot of disadvantages in living in a big city. In a big city, you have to worry about crime. In a small town, you don?t have to worry about getting robbed. There is also a problem with pollution. Exhaust fumes from cars, trucks, and buses create health problems for people living in a big city. In a big city, there are higher rates of asthma and other respiratory problems. In a small town, the air is much cleaner and there are more wide open space so that pollution doesn?t build up. Some people prefer big cities over small towns because there is more excitement there. In a small town, there is not even a movie theatre. Small town life can be so boring that some people would go to the big city just to have fun. In a big city, there are more job opportunities then there are in a small town. When a young person graduates college to look for a job, he or she would have to move to a big city for more job opportunities. Some people prefer a small town over a big city because a small town is a better place to raise a family. Small towns provide better schools, a cleaner…

It is a well-known fact that the world is becoming increasingly urbanized. In almost every country in the world the trend has been for more and more people to move from small towns to larger cities. Although there are certain aspects of living in small town that I would appreciate such as clean air and less noise, however the urbanizing trend pretty much reflects my own preference for living in a big city rather than in a small town, because in my opinion the place one lives in plays more important role in one’s life in terms of wider range of opportunities. I think the education and career opportunities are the most prominent among them.…
