Soup Kitchen Reflection

Starting from the summer of my sophomore year to my senior year, I dedicated 2 hours every Friday to volunteer at the soup kitchen. By volunteering at the soup kitchen, I was given the opportunity to work with a friendly and encouraging team of people around my age. We worked together as a team, taking turns performing tasks and never failing to help one another. My overall experience with the customers was noteworthy, helping me become more compassionate for those in need. For once, I realized how thankful I was for all the resources that were given to me.
