Therefore speaking, I think procrastination is a good thing if you’re using your time and mind in the right way. Not by playing video games, watching television, sitting around, and doing absolutely nothing. You could make up healthy ways to use your time, like Raymond Chandler did in sentence 16, “Chandler forced himself to write detective stories by setting aside four hours a day and following these two rules: a .) you don’t have to write. b.) you can’t do anything else.” You could make alist, and list the things that could and couldn’t do during that time.…

The art of procrastination has troubled high school kids for quite some time now. Most students will crack as the pressure of meeting the deadline with quality work overbears them, as they regretfully wish they spent their time wiser. Few will rise up to the challenge and meet the standards, but what separates the students who succeed and those who miserably fail?…

He quotes “When the value of something else outweighs the value of working now.” More clearly students don’t see the value of their homework any better than going out to a party and having fun so they leave homework undone and so something more pleasurable.…

As citied by Frank Partnoy “some scientists have argued that there are two kinds of procrastination: active procrastination and passive procrastination”, the author used this evidence to convince the audience without mentioning who are they those scientists. This an unreliable evidence that makes the author’s words not trustable. This evidence is true but weak, refers to Frank S. Martini Jr. words who stated in his research titled by “The influence of active procrastination and passive procrastination”, earlier research proves that to benefit from the positive effect of procrastination, it found that there’re two kinds of procrastination: active and passive. This is a strong evidence for the previous statement stated by Partnoy. Additionally, another weak evidence mentioned in the article claimed by Paul Graham “the most impressive people I know are all terrible procrastinators”, it’s a weak source as he didn’t state the credibility of the author and this called as lack of reference. As said by Megan McCardle in the article “Why Writers Are the Worst Procrastinators”, loads of people delays, but when it comes to writers it’s rare. This evidence proves that not all the inspiring people…

I work well under pressure. I always seem to put things off until there is only a minimum of time left. By practicing the fine art of procrastination, I have learned things that others over look. On many occasions, after putting off domestic duties like mowing the lawn, cleaning the gutters, taking out the garbage, etc. my wife will miraculously have them all done, then by the time guilt rears its ugly head in me it is time to put things off again. The promise of dinner and a movie tomorrow night usually smoothes things over. Everyone knows tomorrow is always the best day to accomplish your best.…
