Mrs. Elliot third-grade class was able to understand that discrimination and prejudice created barriers which were hard to overcome and rather than judging a person on the color of their skin or how someone eye color could tell who is far more superior, we as human being should love and understand one another. The Asch Conformity Experiment was conducted by Solomon Asch who was a Polish gestalt psychologist. The experiment begins with a man or a woman and seven other subjects, who are actually a part of the research team, however, the man or the women doesn’t know that they are the only real subject. The man or the women along with the seven other subject are to be seated at a small table in a room, meanwhile the experimenter appears into the same room and placed two cards in front of all the subjects, the card on the left contains one vertical line while the card on the right displays three lines of varying length. The Robbers Cave Experiment was conducted by Muzafer Sherif, who was a Turkish-American social psychologist. The Robbers Cave Experiment was known as the Realistic Conflict Theory which explained how intergroup hostility can arise as a result of conflicting goals and could resources. The experiment begins involving two groups of twelve-year-old boys which none of them knew of each other before however all of them shared similar backgrounds and they were all randomly signed one to two groups. Each group in the experiment went through team building exercise and they decide on a team name for themselves. One team named themselves the Eagles while the other team named themselves the Rattlers, there was in total 22 boys from the start of the experiment. For the first week of the experiment, everything was going smoothly however Sherif arranged the Competition Stage within the two group of boys, they became aware of each other and the experiment ended with everyone competing with one
