Summary: Oklahoma City Thunder
The media today are very into our lives today, any action we take it will be noticed by the media. If we are a famous figure for example: actor, sports professional, etc. We will be looked at by the media, and they will criticize us for any decision. Kevin Durant a well-known professional basketball player, who use to play for the Oklahoma City Thunder, has been talked about because of his recent decision to transfer to the Golden State Warriors. The reason why they are talking about his recent decision is, because they say it is a cop out. Last year in the NBA finals Kevin Durant was on the OKC thunder and they were playing the Warriors. The Thunder had the Warriors down 3-1 out of a 7 game series. Steph curry and his team stepped up and came …show more content…
The Warriors went 73-9 to beat the 96 bulls season record for most games won in a nba season. The Warriors went to the finals and almost lost to the OKC thunder and game back from a 3-1 deficit. Even though the warriors lost to the Cleveland Cavilers, they won by picking up the superstar Kevin Durant wo is a very versatile player. The media have been talking about his recent decision to play for the Warriors because they are already a great team. Sports Illustrated says “It’s true that Kevin Durant can do whatever he wants with his career and his life. But this is also true: We do not have to care, or even watch. As long as we do, we are entitled to opinions about what he does, and I think his move to Golden State Warriors stinks. It is a competitive cop-out, worse than saying, “If you can’t beat them, join them, because Durant could have beaten the Warriors, and he joined them …show more content…
Just because he went to the Warriors does not make him weak, or soft in any way. To me it is simply a business decision. Just because the warriors already have a stacked team does not mean he shouldn’t go. That’s like saying “you can’t switch jobs because it is better and pays more”. The media will make a fuss about any subject just to talk about it, because they have nothing better else to do. I think Kevin Durant is handling all the shade being thrown his way in a very professional way. Who cares what people say because they don’t pay your bills, or give you money for anything

As seen by the Cavs-Warriors game on Christmas, the Warriors need Curry to be productive for the Warriors to beat the Cavs. Curry is third on the team in shot attempts (Kevin and Klay are tied for 1st with 17.1). Stephen Curry has fallen into the “super team effect”, which is basically when people discredit your play because you’re on a team that has multiple good players. It’s hard for Curry’s legacy not to take a hit when the Warriors are blowing out teams constantly and other players like Durant (multiple 30 point games) and Klay Thompson (60 point game) are having more noticeable games.…

Head Coach Gregg Popovich is a veteran sideline conductor whose experience not only taking teams to the post season but winning championships has become a tradition in the Alamo City while James Harden was traded to the Houston Rockets in 2012 after spending his first three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Harden hasn’t been guided by consistent veteran head coaches, instead he’s been the key piece for teams marching towards a championship, those teams have just come up short. The Rockets may have stolen one on the road in Game 1 against the Spurs, but San Antonio’s success in the postseason is built on consistency, they know the playoffs are a marathon not a sprint and apparently so does James Harden. “Game 1 is good for us,” Harden said after blowing out San Antonio 126-99 on the road, “but we’ve got to get…

People recognise Lebron James as not only a legendary basketball player, but also an expert wordsmith. As Lebron left his home of Cleveland with the promise of fame and fortune in the land of the Miami Heat, he betrayed his hometown. Many expressed outrage about his betrayal and found themselves offended by his very name. People met the sudden switch from Miami and back to Cleveland with much anger and controversy from both cities. People threw rumors and hateful words his way. Surrounded by all of the anger, Lebron released a beautifully crafted essay using strong rhetoric to shield himself from the blows. After this essay was released, those who had assaulted him began to follow and to support his decision. Many find it difficult to win the hearts of those who feel wronged. Yet with careful diction and presumably honest emotions and truths, it can be done. Lebron did just that.…
