The gate of the Tabernacle provided the access just as there is no salvation found in any other name but Jesus (Matthew 1:21, Acts 4:12). The candlestick was made by hand from one piece of gold giving the only source of light in the Holy Place. As the candlestick was the light in the sanctuary, Jesus is the light of the world. Another symbolism found in the Holy Place is like the candlestick shed light on the table of shewbread, the Holy Ghost illuminates God’s Word to us. The table of shewbread was made from Acacia wood overlaid with gold representing Christ was earthly being born from a woman but royalty. The wood material that constructed the table of shewbread was able to grow in a place that no other thing could and was decay proof just as Jesus could go through things that other people could not and He is everlasting. The altar of incense is similar to the church praying for the lost souls in the world today. The veil was the separation between the Holy Place and the Holiest of Holies and was made of fine twined linen with cherubims embroidered on it.
