Team Bonding Analysis

This week we did a lot of things. When we came in on Monday we did a team bonding exercise. We first got into groups and elected a leader, recorder and timekeeper. The leader conducted interviews with us and everyone in the group got to know a little bit more about each other. The next activity we did was a human knot. We all has to join hands and then get untangled from each other. That activity made us get physically close but we had to communicate and we also laughed a lot. Anytime you laugh with people it makes you bond so it was effective. For the third activity we had to do a type of relay race where we had to knock down cups, using a tennis ball inside a pantyhose attached to our head. That was pretty hard but we had to cheer for our
teammates so I feel like that helped us bond. So this week I started my brazing manifold project again.After I had cut the copper I had to use the drill. I was really happy because Loren helped show me how to use the drill correctly. So because I want to complete the project and not ruin it I asked coach for any tips for brazing. I told him about how the copper expands sometimes and he said it may be because it's too hot. So today I pinched a piece of copper to practice with because coach said I should try practicing so I don't ruin my project that I put so much work into. On Thursday I went to a student ambassador meeting. We are getting trained so we can either take kids for tours around the school, or be more helpful in explaining the lab when the tours come in. We got a paper with tips for speaking to the kids and also what we should say. Plus the tours are now called showcases. This week I also helped Paige a little bit. I was able to show her how to use two wrenches to tighten her project so the connection wouldn't leak and also how to remove her project from the testing line.
