The Advantages Of Using A Professional Advertising Agency Opposed To Using Your Own In
The advantages of using a professional advertising agency opposed to using your own in-house marketing department
There are many reasons why it could be a sensible financial decision in a business to allow for an agency to take care of all aspect of an advertising campaign. For a start good advertising agencies generally come equipped with a huge arsenal of professional video recording, photography, studio and printing equipment, along with a lot of professional software to accompany it. These are things that many companies won’t have in-house and therefore would be very expensive to buy/rent these types of equipment individually. When it comes to expenses it could also be viable to use an advertising agency when a company is on a strict budget, as an agency will generally be very good at planning the campaign to its maximum potential with its given budget.
An advertising agency will also have experience, knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the marketing campaign phases, these being planning, delivering and monitoring the campaign. This of course is impossible for a company to have if they have never conducted a marketing campaign before. Due to this experience is it also very likely that all media produced by the advertising campaign will look very slick, professional and high quality.

The disadvantages of using a professional advertising agency opposed to using your own in-house marketing department

An example of why this may be is sometimes it could be hard to get an agency to appreciate certain themes a company wishes to express in the campaign, for example the values of said company. The agency also may not be knowledgeable of the strengths of the product they are making the campaign for, and may miss essential features of it from the campaign by mistake.
While a marketing campaign affects the company it belongs to for the long

Your clients are industrial companies- that is, they sell primarily to other manufacturing firms and government agencies- that have developed- as unintended outcomes of their R&D programs- products for the retail trade. Dow Chemical Company, while not a client of your agency, is an almost ideal example of this type of firm. Advertising, as aforementioned, is an artform. It is an artform that is constantly changing. When one works in advertising, one is dealing with people, their emotions, their needs, etc. When the people- your audience, change for any reason, it must be embraced. To fight it, is futile. Hank Seiden is quoted in the text from his book, Advertising Plain and Simple, saying, “If there were a surefire formula for successful advertising, everyone would use it. Then there’d be no need for creative people. We would simply program robots…
