In the book “Leadership (The Brian Tracy Success Library)”by Brian Tracy, the chapter 8 deals with the importance of communication for a leader. The author believes that communication is a core quality of leadership.

They look at everything that they are doing and also look at the impact of those things. They look at each activity from different angles. By this they draw a strategic plan which helps them to achieve their long term mission. In this plan they consider all the risk or obstacles which may come in their way while achieving their mission. The leader has vision and a sense of mission which lifts up and inspires the team members to help achieve that mission. Every team member has a desire to do something bigger; it’s the leader’s ability to tap into that root of motivation, drive and enthusiasm that allows the team members to commit themselves to achieve that vision. From the book and article I learned that a leader should set a clear goal and strategy in order to achieve success in the project and he should also take efforts to motivate and align his team with the set goals and strategy. It is also important to involve the team in the process of setting the vision so that they feel a sense of belongingness.
