The Climb By Miley Cyrus: Song Analysis

“There's always gonna be another mountain / I'm always gonna wanna make it move.” This line from The Climb is probably the most relevant line to my eighth grade year because this year, as soon as one problem was gone, there was always another challenge. The Climb by Miley Cyrus is the song that best describes my eighth grade year because it is about pushing through tough times, how there is always going to be challenges and even states, “But these are the moments that / I'm going to remember most...”

The Climb’s entire message is to keep pushing through tough times, even when you want to give up. During this school year, there were a few times where I was really stressed and upset, and I wanted to give up or ignore my problems. At one time, I had a soccer game and at least one assignment in each class. I really wanted to skip soccer or not do any of my homework, but I decided I had to push through the stress and finish it.
