The Depressed Maid

Once upon a time, there was a maid named Nicole. Everyone in the castle liked Nicole for her cheerfulness. One day the king's son, Thomas, heard about Nicole. Thomas, interested in Nicole, went to see Nicole for himself. So, he asked around the castle to see if anyone knew about her whereabouts. One cook said that she saw her walk down the corridor to the dining room and turned right just a couple minutes ago.

Thomas followed the instructions but when he got to the corridor he heard crying. He then ran down the corridor towards the crying and asked, "Who's there? Are you okay?" in a soft voice. The crying then stopped, and so Thomas walked into the room he heard the crying coming from. He looked around and saw a girl sitting in a corner wiping tears from her face. The girl looked at Thomas and wiped the final tear from off her face. Thomas looked at her and asked, "Are you, all right?" with a soft look in his eyes. The girl then looked back at Thomas and nodded. Thomas walked up to her, bowed down, and took her hand gently. "Thomas." He said. Then placing a small kiss on her knuckles.
