The Giver By Lois Lowry: Comparing The Book And The Movie
Whenever you watch a movie then read the book or read the book then read the movie, don't you notice that there are differences? These differences are certainly notable in the novel The Giver by Lois Lowry and the movie “The G\iver” directed by Phillip Noyce. The movie and novel have many similarities and differences like their behaviors, families, and characters.

Firstly, their behaviors, in the novel Jonas is always careful with his words compared to his friend Asher, who is not as careful as Jonas and is always mixing up the words. Compared to the movie Jonas isn’t as careful with precision of language as for Jonas in the novel. In the Novel The Giver it says specifically about Jonas, “Jonas was careful about language.
