The Health of Your Heart
The Health of your Heart Introduction
Keeping a healthy heart is vital for good health. This is because as cardiovascular fitness increases, so does the efficiency of the body. The heart becomes stronger and stronger every time you use it. Aerobic or cardiovascular fitness is measured by how efficient a person can pump oxygen to their working muscles to supply energy. It decreases the danger of getting life-threatening cardiovascular diseases. cardiovascular fitness is usually improved by exercising the large muscle groups. This includes activities such as running, walking and swimming.
The hearts work is measured by BPM or beats per minute this is called the heart rate, which is the quantitative measure. A persons heart rate is dependent on their cardiovascular health. Lower standing heart rate should correlate to a more conditioned heart and will have a higher heart rate variability.cardiovascular fitness points are based on multiple things such as age, heredity, cardiovascular clinical status, gender and exercise habits. As humans age, aerobic power decreases. it is at its maximum capacity through ages 15-30 years old. Coronary heart disease is common with aging individuals who have high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, but mostly they develop it because they are inactive. CAD is the number one killer in America, and it can be prevent by simply exercising and improving ones aerobic fitness.
When one increases their aerobic fitness, the body can transport oxygen more efficiently. Training lowers your resting heart rate and since heart rates sub at maximal loads, pumps more blood each time your heart beats. This is how we can measure aerobic fitness, by heart rate. the hearts beat measures the amount of blood pumped by the heart to deliver oxygen to the rest of the body.
The purpose of this investigation was to calculate cardiovascular fitness and determine the relationship between heart rate immediately after exercise and the amount of

Background Information: Blood transports nutrients, oxygen and water to every cell in the body. There are 2 kinds of blood cells, red and white The primary function of white blood cells is to fight germs. The heart is made of muscle tissue, so exercise will make the heart pump. The heart supplies oxygen to our muscles when we are exercising and to our brain to keep us alert. The 3 elements of fitness are stamina, strength and flexibility. Strength is the amount of force muscles exert when performing a action. The ability of the heart and blood vessels is to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the body's tissue, including muscle is stamina. Flexibility is the ability of the joints to move freely and without discomfort. When exercising, the muscles need more oxygen because muscles work harder than normal. So there is a increase in blood flow and heart rate.…

It was confirmed that group 4 did have the greatest increase in heart rate but there was no correlation between the data to prove that group 4 had the biggest difference in blood pressure. To further our data we would look deeper into the correlation between the fitness level of the participants and the difference in their heart rate. For some individuals in our data exercise affected their heart rate, but not as much for others. This is seen in group 4, where individual 10 worked out and still had a higher difference in heart rate then individual 11. Some errors that could have occurred to result in this data could’ve been individual 11 not following the claps to know when to take another step and fell behind causing their heart rate to not increase as much. Another error that could have occurred is that the pulse was counted incorrectly and the counter missed beats, or that the heart rate was taken too long after the initial exercise that the pulse was able to slow down with the individual…

The subject’s heart rate shows a steady heart rate of 68 at rest, however after one minute of exercise it has increased by 8 beats per minute. This shows that the pulse rate and flow of blood has increased around the body during the first minute of exercise because the body is pumping blood around the body faster. After 2 and 3 minutes of exercise the heart rate becomes steadier as there is an equal amount of an increase of 4 beats per minute between them. This shows that the body has adjusted to the rate of exercise.…

By increasing my cardiovascular endurance level, it can help my cardiovascular and respiratory systems to function properly while under the stress of challenging exercise sessions. Like the book mentions, improving cardiovascular endurance will not only help boost oxygen to muscles over an extended period of time but it can help improve my physical fitness level. Having short term and long term goals for improving my cardiovascular endurance, will help make a difference with reducing potential heart and respiratory problems.…

First of all, when a person begins exercising it immediately starts working their heart. When a person’s heart begins working because of exercise it pumps harder; this can lead to a better circulation for blood flow. Since the blood flow is increasing it causes more oxygen to be carried throughout the body. Better circulation due to exercise can also lower one’s blood pressure. All of these can result in a stronger and healthier heart due to working out.…

The 6MWT result reflects functional status, walking autonomy and efficacy of CR on walking endurance, which is more pronounced in patients with low functional capacity (heart failure – cardiac surgery). The 6MWT result is a strong predictor of mortality. However, clinically significant changes and reliability are still subject to debate – probably because of the ambiguity in terms of the target speed (either comfortable or brisk walking).(43). The present study was the first study to vali¬date a protocol to evaluate the beat-by-beat heart rate slopes during 6MWT in healthy male adults. This may be used to obtain the predicted 6MWD for individual subjects aged between 18 and 27 years performing the test for the first time, when using the standardized…
