We are all equal and no marriage should be considered more valid than the other. When the LGBT community becomes fully accepted the church and state will no longer be divided, violence and protests will halt, and so many children will be united with parents who love them. Gay marriage will not harm the institution of marriage. Homosexual couples want to be together for the same reasons as heterosexual couples, to express their love for each other. We should not teach the younger generations to exclude anyone for their love preference. Acceptance of the gay community recognizes our reality which could make us a better nation.
