The Little Mermaid Villain Essay

In real life, villains really should be avoided but in fiction they are just unavoidable. Without a villain getting in the hero’s way, there would be no conflict, and a movie with no conflict would not be as entertaining as other movies. Great villains can have a meaningful effect on the value of their stories, but what makes a great villain? An example can be Ursula from the movie The Little Mermaid. I would describe Ursula is persuasive, wicked, cruel, clever, tricky, and glutton person.

Ursula character is very persuasive towards Ariel who is King Triton to get advantage of the 16 year old girl because she is in love a human named Erick. Ursula persuades Ariel to trade her voice for legs and makes a deal if she can make Erick give her a kiss of true love she becomes Ursula's property. Ursula sees Ariel in love with Erick so she persuades her to thinking it is a good idea to disobey her father and make a deal with Ursula. In the story She manipulates the young girl Ariel and that is what also makes her an evil villain.
Ariel got Erick to kiss her but it was to late and Ursula owned her. She uses the girl to get the dad to give up his trition to save her from being Ursula's propety.
