When Victoria was in charge Britain became number one, the most powerful country, in the world, or so British liked to think (Barrow). The Victorian Era was the time when trains started to make place and a huge advance in science and technology began. Queen Victoria new how to run a kingdom in an organized and clean way. Queen Victoria had a whole era named after her and her capabilities as a queen.
She ruled a period full of unity, wealth, and reassurance for her people over a long period (Victorian Era). She reigned the longest period for the United Kingdom (Victorian Era). Mattox writes, “Her lack of height and a tendency toward plumpness made her look best in simple well-tailored clothes such as riding habits. Queen Victoria inspired fashion back then and still inspires some types of fashion now.
