The Zoos Are Really Very Cruel to Wild Animals
All I can say is that through my opinion zoos are really very cruel to wild animals. Why is this so ?
Well because they don’t think of the wild animals habitat and the liberty which they need. The shock of being in captivity would actually depress the animals; they would even act violently and might hurt people near them. And it is not the animal to be fault. Firstly, the ecosystem became unbalanced. Secondly If the humans kept the wild animals in the zoo, they will ruin their food chain. Animals need to run a lot, but their kept in the zoo where it is lack of spacious area. They need to hunt for their own food, however while in the zoo the foods are provided. There is no freedom for the animals for being kept by humans. Worst case possible is animals would get depressed and attack people randomly. People should not blame the animals if they got attacked; it is their own fault for keeping the animals in cages. Animals can die prematurely in zoos. For eg.In 1991 twenty-five Asiatic Lions were born in zoos around the world - 22 of them died. In the same year 166 cheetahs were born in zoos, of which 112 died. And the last but the most important is that the animals are born naturally in the wild and us humans cannot provide them what nature gives for their needs. This is the crucial motive where animals should be freed
Or they should put them in sanctuaries instead and ask people to do animal safaris if they wanted to see the animals . at least the animals will get their freedom and live in

Zoos are like internment camps and should be shut down. Animals deserve the right to live out their lives in their natural habitat, not be the source of human entertainment. Zoos are more detrimental to animals than they are good for them, even though there are conservation efforts and educational purposes for having animals in captivity. The negative aspects far outweigh any positive effects when it comes to having animals in captivity due to poor living conditions, failure to educate, and psychological trauma.…

    What's Wrong With Zoos

Others think that the zoo is a great place to view mother nature's creatures for a reasonable price. In the excerpt, “Zoos Connect Us to the Natural World”, it states, “Only a small percentage of our nation's citizens can afford to travel to exotic locations to view wild tigers, elephants, or giant pandas”. But, that right there states wild tigers, elephants and pandas, and they are called wild animals for a reason they are supposed to be free and well wild. So instead of keeping these animals caged up we should let them be what they are meant to be and that is wild animals.…

If we were to release them back into their natural habitat they will have difficulty in either finding a food source or being able to tell who is a poacher or a wildlife ranger. Animals who have been captive for most of their life are dependent of their caregivers and are not suited to be in their natural habitat. Most animals won’t get accepted into a herd or be able to adapt to that kind of lifestyle which they have never experienced. In the following passages I will explain the main reasons why I strongly believe that animals that have been held in captivity should remain in…

Stampeding elephants rushing through verdant fields. Slithering snakes creeping along the Amazon floor. Gazelles grazing through the undisturbed prairie. SNAP, the feasting wolf captured the innocent gazelle as it devours it alive, then scrimmaging through the bones for any extra meat of the gazelle that is no more. Sadly, this is a true reality, and in zoos, animals are completely safe and don’t take the risk of being eaten alive each and every day. This world needs zoos for reasons such as: protection, conservation, education, and research.…

Animals are dying all over America and zoos are the criminal’s behind it! Not too long ago, a Tiger was poisoned in a Nevada Zoo. The zookeepers claim they did it for the animals “own good”, They claim that it was all just a myth. Another incident, in the same Nevada Zoo, an animal was not fed and starved to death. Again the zookeepers deny the fact they did it on purpose. According to PETA, (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), They finally came out and said, “they needed more room in the zoo.” My opinion is, they should’ve just donated the animal to another zoo or let it free. This is why i think zoos are bad.…

It's undeniable that most animal zoos or such organizations really have relevant knowledge, offer suitable environments and rescue animals from danger. It seems animals can live safely and freely in captivity. However, it is too hasty to say so, since they would lose the most essential characteristic, which is called feral behaviour. There is no any difference between a cat and a Chinese Tiger, if the tiger lost…

Even though zoos help countless wild animals, it has become fashion by some, to ignore their contribution to save wild life. A depressing fact is that 1 000 animals in South Africa, 100 000 elephants in Africa, and 100 million sharks are killed each day! It’s not just the animals living in modern zoos that benefit from the scientific knowledge and experience the zoo gives. The wildlife benefits too thanks to zoos which rescue stranded animals each year!…

Can you imagine being taken away from the only family and place you’ve called home to be forced to adjust to a completely different lifestyle than the one you’ve had your entire life? Every day, thousands of animals are captured from their habitats, and are forced to adapt to an entirely new life; a life where they may have to live inside a cage, in a tank, or surrounded by walls so different from their native homes. Millions of people every year pay to see, pet, and take pictures of unhappy animals. There are over 10,000 zoos in the world where animals of every kind are confined and displayed to the public, similar to paintings in art museums. Animals should not be kept in captivity because it is cruel and unnatural, it results in human…
