Three Levels Of Health Promotion
Health promotion allows people to have control and enhance their health through a range of environmental and social interventions. These interventions protect and benefit people’s quality of life and health by preventing and addressing the cause of poor health. Furthermore, health promotion includes creating supportive environments, promoting healthy behaviors, and support healthy public policies. Schools, clinics, and workplaces are some examples of where effective interventions may occur.

Primary, secondary, and tertiary are the three levels of prevention. Within the three levels, there are five parts. Primary prevention focuses on education to optimize health and hinder illness. Interventions are applied before disease or injury exist.
