Three Main Reasons For The Civil War
War. Back then war was not uncommon, many families sent off husbands, sons, even grandfather’s fought in wars and battles every day. The Civil War was one of the worst battles for families. This is because this war was north against south so, families were fighting each other. There were 3 main reasons for the civil war and here they are.

Despite what people forget there are 3 main reasons for the Civil War. The three main reason were the economy, Failure of Political Compromise, and slavery. The civil war was a turning point for our country. It was a time we need to see what we were doing wrong as a whole.

Railroads are types of transportation that help people, especially slaves, get from place to place. There are more railroads in the north than there are in the south. Cotton is a very popular cash crop. Cotton is mostly produced in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. With the abundance of cotton, this calls for more slaves in the area. Cotton is a very useful crop. It is used for clothing and many other things that are used everyday.

It contributed to war because of the differences between certain things like the South might’ve felt the North had a better amount than them for the Yearly Value of Manufactured Goods. So, they used it against them in the civil war. The Railroad Mileage in the North was longer. They could use that to travel around more than the South. The North also had more industrial workers. This made it so that they were better than the south in industrial working, which made the south angry. The North had a bigger population in Total Population. Total Population is the overall amount of people in an area. This meant they could have more people that moved there and could fight for them. They can always use people in the
