Time Management Course Analysis
Activities are everywhere and always in reach for one to engage himself or herself in. It is a matter of making the decision to get out of bed or to hop off the couch and decide to be active. During this course we were required to walk at least forty-five minutes each day which resulted in creating opportunities to sync into a healthier lifestyle. For me, ever since I began the course a variety of differences were made, perhaps not immediately, but the changes were there and were noted towards the final days of the course. The ability to manage time, as well as attending to a proper nutrition, and hydration all changed in the most positive ways possible. To begin, my time management has improved immensely because I found ways to fit important …show more content…

After keeping track of the food I have been eating I realized that I should eat healthier to come in parallel with my active “new life.” I decided to incorporate different fruits into my plates and more vegetables. I also made the decision to add chicken in my meals, because I realized that the addition of protein could help my muscle growth, since I have begun to exercise after my forty-five minute long walks. Which is exactly why I went out to buy protein powder to build up my muscles after my workouts. My nutrition improved and I felt as if the new energy coming from all the parts of the food triangle was truly working and allowing me to absorb all the energy.
Finally, my hydration has improved immensely as well. Throughout my high school years I have fainted almost once every single year due to dehydration, because I forgot its overall importance. Thus, I began by drinking more water throughout my walks and then throughout my entire day. I began by drinking one bottled water and soon extended that to about three to four water bottles a day. Since then, not only has my hydration level improved, but also my skin has become clearer and healthier.
All in all, I have gained many benefits from this course, such as: time management skills, proper nutrition, and proper hydration. This course has allowed me to change my perspective on many aspects of my life, especially when it focuses on my physical and mental active

I try and balance the rest of my diet with recommended amounts of whole grains and fruits. At the beginning of this course I was not eating like I was supposed to. I had irregular eating habits that were some-what healthy. Eating three times a day is normal; however, I was lucky to eat one time a day. Skipping the most important meal of the day, which was breakfast, was not benefiting me in any way. I was not consuming enough fruits, vegetables, dairy, protein, and grains. Since the beginning of this course I have already initiated my four nutritional and physical exercise goals by cutting out my fried food intake, reducing my starch intake, decreasing my soda intake, and exercising more.…

The first skill that I found influential to me was __ chapters in, the one on time management. From this chapter I gained knowledge about establishing priorities. Although it still is difficult to do tasks in accurate levels of priority, I attempt to write essays for one class before I review my notes from another. However, I still struggle with doing school work before other activities with less priority such as taking my dog for a walk. This also includes things off my priority list, such as playing video games or watching a television show. I find that I’m quite proficient at finding things to procrastinate doing homework, I try to…
