tasks into my schedule while getting rid of the time wasting activities I would subconsciously slip into doing. Instead of spending more time on my phone I decided to take a walk through a trail with my dog. Walking my dog outside early in the morning was extremely beneficial because it helped to relieve any stress that had built up during the week. This short time period allowed me to meditate on my thoughts instead of wasting them away on my couch with my phone tucked into my hand. In addition to time management, my nutrition gradually improved as well.
After keeping track of the food I have been eating I realized that I should eat healthier to come in parallel with my active “new life.” I decided to incorporate different fruits into my plates and more vegetables. I also made the decision to add chicken in my meals, because I realized that the addition of protein could help my muscle growth, since I have begun to exercise after my forty-five minute long walks. Which is exactly why I went out to buy protein powder to build up my muscles after my workouts. My nutrition improved and I felt as if the new energy coming from all the parts of the food triangle was truly working and allowing me to absorb all the energy.
Finally, my hydration has improved immensely as well. Throughout my high school years I have fainted almost once every single year due to dehydration, because I forgot its overall importance. Thus, I began by drinking more water throughout my walks and then throughout my entire day. I began by drinking one bottled water and soon extended that to about three to four water bottles a day. Since then, not only has my hydration level improved, but also my skin has become clearer and healthier.
All in all, I have gained many benefits from this course, such as: time management skills, proper nutrition, and proper hydration. This course has allowed me to change my perspective on many aspects of my life, especially when it focuses on my physical and mental active
life.
