It was a hot summer day in River Creek park when Nate, saw his crush and started to think “this is the day, the day I will finally ask Ashley out! Nate leisurely made my way toward Ashley when Nate’s feet started to slow suddenly it looked like he was walking through a lot of mud. Then Ashley turned around to see him walking like that. Nate stopped and said “hey Ashley could you come over here?” She started to walk and with every step she took it made Nate more sweaty. “Ash-Ash-Ashley would you like to g-g-go on a date?” “I would love to” Ashley said. Nate started to blush
Later that week at school, “Hey guys Ashley said yes!” Nate said “Nice” Tyrone said what nate did not notice when he left the class was Amy crying about how Nate was supposed to love her.
That whole week Nate never saw Amy again. “Way to go jerk can’t you take a hint” someone said.
“Guys what was she talking about?” Nate asked “just how Amy liked you and how she now can’t help but despise you.” Tyrone answered “wow I never knew” Nate said hey come on guys let's go get some new shoes from Nikis When Nate walked in he immediately saw some cool orange and blue shoes but then noted that they were too much money then nate noticed some other cool red and black shoes and went to see how much they were. “Only ten dollars, wow what a find!” Nate thought and then went to buy the shoes. All that day nate and his friends went around buy new and cool new stuff.
Later that week Nate went to hang out with his friend Tyrone when something amazing happened. Nate started to walk to Tyrone’s house when Nate turned to see three shady figures slowly stalking him he started to speed up, he turned a corner “They are following me!” Nate thought and started to jog then they started to jog “What do they want?” Nate thought as he started to go into a full run. Turning around Nate saw that he was going up a bridge. “The only way to get away is to jump into the lake below!” Nate thought
Nate slowly got up on the edge of the bridge.
“It's a long way down” Nate thought and he jumped. As Nate was falling he started to move his arms and legs like a awkward chicken trying to fly all of a sudden Nate saw a flash and the next second he was In the river soaking wet looking up to where the bridge was supposed to be. “What, I must be imagining things” Nate thought. Nate then continued to walk to Tyrone’s house. Nate arrived at Tyrone’s house to see nothing was the same “how is this possible?” Nate thought. Nate turned around to see a newspaper boy handing out newspaper so Nate ran up and grabbed one. When Nate looked at the date a look of disbelief ran across his face. “How is this possible, it must be time travel!, It must have something to do with speed” Nate thought as he started to run suddenly a white flash and Nate was back in his time. “Wait, I can fix things between me and Amy now” Nate thought as relief struck him Mate then ran back in time. “This is the time I fix things between me and Amy” Nate thought, Nate looked at Ashley then Amy “it's worth it” he thought and walked
away.

Later that day Nate traveled back to his time. “What?” Nate thought as he saw that now he was alone in the park. Nate dialed the Amy's number on his phone, She picked up but all he could hear was someone breathing on the other line. “What was that about?” Nate thought with alarm Later that day Nate saw his friend Baer “Hey Bear what happened to Amy?” Nate implied. “Well after you asked Ashley out-” “wait how did that happen?” Nate asked “you don't remember? “No my memory is kind hazzey” okay, first Amy asked you to the dance then,you got dared by Tyrone to ask Ashley out, then after that everyone but me shunned you for being a jerk, every one except me that is.” Tyrone said “Thanks for that and telling me, bye!” Nate said as he ran away. “I'll just go back and fix it again Nate thought” nate started to run, Suddenly his vision went blurry and the next second he was hanging over a Cliff on the edge of town. “Help,help me, anyone” Nate shouted. But no one came Nate was losing his grip fast “this is it” Nate thought as he was closing his eyes as if anticipating death suddenly someone grabbed on to his hand and pulled him up. Nate looked up to see a hooded figure “who are you?” It's me Nate the person said as she revealed herself to be Amy. “Thanks for saving me, and I'm sorry I should have asked you out earlier but I did not know I had these feelings until it was too late, in fact I'll break up with Ashley to be with you.” Nate said “really” “yeah it's the least I could do plus I want to, Amy would you like to go on a date?” I “would love to!” “Do you remember those hooded people that chased you, I did that to try to get you back for what you did, I'm sorry about that, I now see that revenge is not the answer”
“Come on let's go on our date already!” Nate complained
