To Tell Or Not To Tell Analysis

If your friend is at the verge of harming themselves,or wants to harm others. Would you sacrifice your friendship to save their life and many others, or will you not tell and lose them all together. What would you do, would you tell or not to tell? The author of this text is Mary Kate Frank and she has many reasons and explanations to support why you should tell. Although there are some readers of ´´To Tell or Not To Tell´´ that have argued that you will be called a tattletale if you tell an adult that something bad is going to happen, closer examination shows that if you don't tell an adult or call 911, someone could get hurt. When one of your friends always talk about shooting up the school but you just let it slide but they just bring it up constantly. As you can see, when you know someone who holds a threat to society you need to tell an adult or someone might get hurt, and you would regret not telling an adult sooner. When a friend or someone you know wants to harm themselves but made you sworn that you wouldn't tell anybody, would you tell to save their lives or would you keep their secret to keep your friendship and to not make them mad at you. Some people fled the party in fear they would get in trouble, but one partygoer eventually called 911 to help Brett, which helped him live longer then he would if no one called 911. If you call to help your friend while doing something you're not supposed to do you won't get in trouble because you stayed on the scene and helped your friend. So no matter what your doing call 911 and help your friend no matter the consequences. When your friend is planning to hurt society, or harm themselves or gets hurt while doing something you're not supposed to do.
You need to tell an adult to save their lives and many others too. Mary Kate Frank gave many reasons to why you should indeed tell. For example when your friend wants to shoot up the school, or when your friend tells you they're hurting themselves, and when your friend gets hurt and you leave to safe yourself but not your friend. You should always call 911 and tell an adult because you never know who´s life you might safe.
