Reebok is a multi-million dollar organization that relies on the lowest level of production, which comes from the lowest ranking employee up. It is imperative that new employees receive the required knowledge and skills to contribute to the Reebok team. The orientation process for new employees is the first training that a new employee receives. It is important to integrate new employees properly, to teach correct habits and work methods that help the Reebok Corporation. Reebok is already an established company that has thousands of chain stores, which are located in different locations across the world. Every area is different, but the methods that are expected of new employees are the same. Transparency is a very important aspect within the reebok. The success of Reebok is based on its courage to challenge convention: developing innovative products, creating new markets and the latest athletic style . Reebok is constantly coming out with new product and technologies. New employees arrive with little to no knowledge of the place they have been employed by. Organizational Analysis
Organizational analysis is a very important aspect within reebok. Reeboks focus is on developing and strengthening their brand. The orientation has a very definitive business strategy along with resources and support from employees/managers. A questionnaire was prepared to determine the training and educational needs of an employee. Based on the response that was given by management, internal training is the best option. It’s cheaper than using outside sources. Training does support the company’s strategic direction. When employees are hired, it is imperative for them to receive the proper training to help with product knowledge, customer service, policy and procedure and sales.
