his job. My family and I had to move from the city where my parents, my brothers, and I were born. We had to leave everything behind: relatives, friends, and everything we knew, because we had to move to another state in Mexico, a state that borders with Texas. Five years later, when I was fifteen years old, we had to go through exactly the same event. My dad got another promotion and we had to move, again. The difference is that now we had to leave our country to move to another completely different country. A country with different culture, beliefs, language, and people. We moved to the United States.
When we moved to the United States, I realized that I did not appreciate my friends, my country, beliefs, culture, and everything that I used to do as I should have had.
These events changed me and made me a person who appreciates everything that I have at the moment. Now, I believe that everyone should be thankful and appreciate every little thing that they own, it does not matter how small or how much value it posses, because you do not know when it will be the last time you will be enjoying it.
Another event that occurred during my transition from childhood to adulthood, was when I was around eight years old. At this age, my mom got really sick, she was so sick that she was not able to be by herself anymore because she needed to be with someone who could help in case something bad could have happened to her while she was alone. This specific event is one of the worse, or maybe the worst thing that has ever happened to me. Because I had to witness everything that my mom went through, and at that time I had no clue of what was going on. By that time, when I was eight years old, my little brothers were six and two years old, and I was the one who took take of both of them. This made me a stronger and a more responsible person at the age of eight, and I believe that with time I keep
improving.
During my transition of childhood to adulthood, many things occurred. I know that this two main events made me who I am today, because I know that I'm a strong and responsible person who appreciates every little thing.
