Specifically, we passed the forming, storming, norming, and we are currently in the preforming stage. During the forming stage we all introduced ourselves and we were overly nice with each other. As we moved into the storming stage we become more comfortable with each other and we were then able to express our opinions with each other. Then as we made our way into the norming stage we established all of our rules and expectations of each other. Finally, as I said we are currently in the preforming stage. We are producing work and we are going to continue to do so until our project is complete. Once our project is complete and we have presented, we will them be at the adjourning stage of Tuckman’s Group Development Model. We will say goodbye and go our separate ways from there. The Tuckman’s Group Development Model is extremely important to understand and follow because it is useful to know how a group works, as well as, knowing where a group lies on the model at any given …show more content…
I personally do not think that assertiveness is such a bad thing, yet other group members may not believe for this to be true. First off, I believe that I have some aggression. I am a little pushy when I am trying to get everyone on track so that we can stop socializing and get our work done.
Griselda seems to have some assertiveness because she goes out and asks everyone how they feel about her opinion and she wants us to actually express our opinion. So that is nice and that is a nice contrast to me. Of course, Ben has the ideal normal assertiveness, he promotes his own ideas all while respecting everyone else’s ideas. He does not take his assertiveness too far like I do, he gives everyone the time they need to respond.
Hayffa seems to be have some passivity because she seems to give into other ideas so that she can avoid conflict so we have to make sure that we are getting her opinion and not shutting it
