Social issue involve environment of surrounding. According Cooper and Smith mood and mental can effected when surrounding environment whether at workplace or house such as noise, lighting smells and unsafe neighborhoods. Each people have own potential environment of stress. Besides that, research has shown that pressure and conflict from a job can be a main cause of stress for many people might be work overload, long hours working and others. Margos, Kroes and Quinn (1974) report lowered confidence decrease of work motivation, increase absenteeism and sharply reduced number of suggestion contribute are sources of work overload.
Stress among workers can arise from the competition and personality conflict. Ignore social interaction is interpersonal aspects that effect of stress to workers (Levinson, 1973). Traumatic event also cause of stress and may occurs to all people. People have suffered a traumatic event or life-threatening situation such as robbery, rape often live with long-term stress. In many cases, they actually are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Stress can affect all aspect in life including emotions, behaviors, cognitive and physical. Every people have different sign and symptoms. People under pressure have mood serious and anger because during anger, heart rate and blood pressure increase will affect levels of adrenaline and noradrenalin. People also have low self-esteem that includes low opinion, lack of trust and fearing to try new experiences and changes. Beside that’s, they difficult to sleep
