One must first accept the responsibility and be willing to apply oneself toward the calling. I do not think that stewardship applies to any certain situation; rather, I think that stewardship applies to every situation. I should always be prepared to offer assistance, and to give to others without the expectation of receiving something in return. I should always lead by example and give of myself for others. For me to mentor or successfully manage someone or something, I must first ensure that I am competent and capable of “managing”. I must strive for continual self-awareness, self-improvement, and dedication to others as God has given and is dedicated to me. I must carefully manage myself, so others can seek, learn, and share what they have learned with others. I must view my actions in personal life just as important as in my work life. Even when I am alone, and think that I have no one to offer anything to, God is watching and evaluating. Prior to this project, I did not have a complete understanding of stewardship. I had always given my best when my best was called for. Now, I plan to always give my best, and I understand how important that is.
