1.1 There are many different reasons why people communicate ,people communicate to express needs or to share ideas and information also to reassure and express feelings another reason is to socialise and to ask questions. People communicate in order to establish and maintain relationships with others and to give and receive information and instructions and to understand and be understood as well to share opinions,knowledge, feelings and emotions.
1.2 Effective communication affects all aspects of my own work as it ensures that information is clear, concise, accurate, non-judgemental and informative. This reduces the possibility of mistakes being made, and ensuring appropriate care is delivered, also it is important to work as a team with my colleagues,so that we all work to achieve the same outcomes and targets.
1.3 It is important to observe an individuals reaction when communicating with them as they may not be able to communicate through speech so you would need to look for other signs like facial expressions or body language.
