“Don’t Judge a book by its Cover”
For a number of many years some people judge another person based on the things the things they heard. What they drive, what kind of car they have, what profession they are a part of, and what race they are from.

My main theory about all of this is never judge a book by its cover until you open in and read it.
You really never know a person until you spend some time with them and get to know them.
I was walking through Peace River streets this one morning, minding my own business and I met this homeless woman she asked me if I had any spare change so that she could eat. My first thought in my mind that she was going to go buy more alcohol so I told her that I would drive her to subway and give her a meal because I had not eaten yet so we did. The conversations we had blew me away she told me about her education and her back round life where she grew up and everything she used to do and everything that led her life into poverty. She had lost her son in a car accident and didn’t emotionally get over it, she could not bear the weight of losing her child. I felt so guilty and so ashamed of myself! Like here is this woman highly educated and great company! Here I am judging her about her clothes and my first appearance of her. Little did I know she had it all and I promised myself that I would never judge anybody until I met them and heard their part of their story?
People don’t take the time to personally get to know one another
People just hear a lot of things about a person and repeat what they heard or what they seen that person doing or driving or what kind of life style they have had or have.
Most people are just too busy to sit there and have a real conversation with somebody because there too busy with their own lives or they are just too embarrassed to be seen talking with a homeless people or somebody that is not in their class range.
If only people would take the actual time to get to know another and stop judging

“It is one of the commonest of mistakes to consider that the limit of our power of perception is also the limit of all there is to perceive.”(Leadbeater) Many people believe the way something is perceived, is always the way that it appears to be. In reality, there might be more to a person he is willing to show. If we assume that the way someone or something is seen is always as it appears to be, we would be lying to ourselves. A surplus of people are not exactly how they are seen to be. We should not judge someone too harshly as we may not have all of the facts or details of what is really happening to a person. Perceptions can override our abilities to correctly judge our peers and even ourselves, which can be very impactful.…

Prejudice is where an individual forms an opinion on someone else before becoming aware of the relevant factors involved. The word is often used to refer to usually unfair judgments towards people or a person because of gender, social class, age, disability or race/ethnicity. In this case, it refers to a positive or negative assessment of another person based on their social group. Gordon Allport (1954) defined prejudice as a "feeling, favorable or unfavorable, toward a person or thing, prior to, or not based on, actual experience". Social cognition aims to understand social psychological phenomena (such as stereotyping…

This speaks truth to the statement you never really know somebody until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes. And in most instances I highly doubt a mile would be long enough to fully grasp what an individual has gone through in their life. Human beings always seem too quick to pass judgment and therefore pass off each other when people should be more open and accepting.…

Did you ever do something so embarrassing when you met somebody for the first time that you thought they would think you were strange or weird. Well many people don’t know this but you can change somebody's perception of you by letting them get to know you. Based on my experiences I believe you can change the way people think of you because you may have been in a bad mood so you didn't want to be bothered, when you met the person you could have had a totally different outlook on life and now you've changed, and you could have been younger and didn't really know about rules and consequences and you are beginning to grow up.…
