When a great captain is remarkably caring they have unbelievable passion for the game, competing, and for their teammates. A caring captain cares about not only his teammates but his coaches as well. They will put the consummation of the team ahead of their own needs and desire, and are always interested in their teammates well beings. When a great captain is consistent he shows his fellow teammates and coaches that he can give 110% effort in games and in practices. You cannot cheat you self or half-fast and earn the respect and honor from your coaches and teammates. To be a consistent captain you have to work with your own style of communication and not try to be someone else. When a good captain is courageous he is always willing to step up, also they must “walk the talk”. They cannot be afraid nor have seconds thoughts during a bad situation. They must step up and show there teammates and coaches nothing can stop them or get in their way. They must be brave to hold there teammates accountable to being prepared and working
