I do not agree with these concepts. The victim that I described below had nothing to do with her being rape. Some criminals have no mercy for other people and how they would cope with a bad situation after they have scared the victim for life. I was reading an article online which consists of an Administration Clerk of a state prison. It all happened in 2013 when a 24-year-old woman was raped for approximately 27 minutes by a former inmate at the prison she worked at. The inmate foes by the name Omar Best. Best is incarcerated for having multiple rape cases. The staff member was on a secure floor where she had no contact with any inmates. Her superintendent felt the need to move the offices to an unsecure area where contact with inmate was made during work hours. Yes, after she felt unsafe at her own workstation she could have easily quit her job and found another one. No one should have to go through what she went through. I don’t understand why this inmate was working in the area he was working in he already had a record of raping other women. I strongly believe that the facility could have corrected this situation earlier and this wouldn’t have happened. The way the Department of Correction is designed they rather react after a situation occurs instead of handing the situation prior to it
