There hadn’t been a villain or nemesis that Bond couldn’t bring down. Villains had taken special women from Bond’s life and made him work in the attempts to take them down, but the villains hadn’t had a chance to attempt to take the shine away from Bond.
This leads up to the novel, “On Her Majesty's Secret Service,” and the villain, Blofeld. Blofeld brought a fresh breath of air to what the thought of a Bond villain/ nemesis would be considered to be. The story leads to believe that Bond has won. It tells the reader that Blofeld is killed or suspected to be killed by Bond. Bond has the leg up in the situation, just like he always does. Though this is not the case when it comes to Blofeld. Blofeld became a frustrating case for Bond. Blofeld got under Bond’s skin to the point that Bond wanted to give up being an agent. Bond couldn’t deal with the fact that Blofeld was
